TECHNIQUE - PLEASE READ FIRST: RAW-EDGE FUSIBLE APPLIQUE

This is a raw-edge fusible applique pattern. The templates print at FINISHED SIZE with NO seam allowance and NO dashed turn-under lines, and they come as numbered full-size layout sheets - not as separate cut-out pieces. You trace each shape onto paper-backed fusible web, iron it to your fabric, cut on the drawn line, peel, press it in place, and stitch over the raw edge with a blanket or narrow zigzag stitch. Paper-backed fusible web is required. This is NOT a turned-edge / needle-turn pattern, and there are no dotted seam-allowance lines to turn under.

Three wonderfully expressive geese peek over a rustic brown picket fence against a bold cobalt blue sky, their creamy white feathers pieced together in lively collage style. The tallest goose wears a jaunty straw hat trimmed with red flowers and green leaves, one sports a cheerful green headscarf, and the third is dressed up with a bright red bandana bow, all three caught mid-honk with wide cartoon eyes and open beaks full of personality. The garden bursting around them is a riot of folk-art colour — golden black-eyed Susans and sunflowers rise above the fence, while bold red dahlias, a soft white daisy, vivid blue blooms, and spires of purple lavender fill the foreground. This design is an absolute delight to stitch, rewarding quilters with a scene so cheerful and full of character it will bring a smile to every room it hangs in.
