TECHNIQUE - PLEASE READ FIRST: RAW-EDGE FUSIBLE APPLIQUE

This is a raw-edge fusible applique pattern. The templates print at FINISHED SIZE with NO seam allowance and NO dashed turn-under lines, and they come as numbered full-size layout sheets - not as separate cut-out pieces. You trace each shape onto paper-backed fusible web, iron it to your fabric, cut on the drawn line, peel, press it in place, and stitch over the raw edge with a blanket or narrow zigzag stitch. Paper-backed fusible web is required. This is NOT a turned-edge / needle-turn pattern, and there are no dotted seam-allowance lines to turn under.

Four grinning giraffes stretch their long, spotty necks toward a patchwork sky, each one bursting with its own wild personality and colour story. One is a bold orange with deep burgundy spots, another is a cheerful golden yellow with classic dark markings, a third is a wonderfully unexpected purple with crisp white polka dots, and the fourth is a peachy orange splashed with purple patches and a bubbly pink muzzle. Fluffy white cloud shapes drift across the upper corners, while the entire background is a lively mosaic of green fabric squares ranging from deep forest tones to bright lime, giving the composition the feel of a vibrant jungle canopy. Every giraffe sports oversized googly eyes and a wide toothy grin, making this one of those designs that brings instant joy to any room it hangs in.

• Assorted cotton fabrics for the applique pieces
• Assorted greens for the pieced mosaic sky (there is no single background panel - the sky is cut as pieces, and the chart lists how much of each green to buy)
• Fusible web (paper-backed)
• Quilt batting + backing fabric
• Thread + basic quilting tools
