TECHNIQUE - PLEASE READ FIRST: RAW-EDGE FUSIBLE APPLIQUE

This is a raw-edge fusible applique pattern. The templates print at FINISHED SIZE with NO seam allowance and NO dashed turn-under lines, and they come as numbered full-size layout sheets - not as separate cut-out pieces. You trace each shape onto paper-backed fusible web, iron it to your fabric, cut on the drawn line, peel, press it in place, and stitch over the raw edge with a blanket or narrow zigzag stitch. Paper-backed fusible web is required. This is NOT a turned-edge / needle-turn pattern, and there are no dotted seam-allowance lines to turn under.

Piercing ice-blue eyes anchor the face, while the fur radiates outward in an explosive palette of cobalt, crimson, orange, teal, purple, cream, and grey — every shard of colour adding to the wild, magnetic energy of this magnificent dog. The raw-edge applique style lends itself beautifully to the angular, low-poly composition, making each pressed seam feel intentional and graphic. It is an immensely satisfying quilt to build, as the bold colour shifts and sharp geometric forms come together piece by piece into a portrait that feels both modern and timeless.
