TECHNIQUE - PLEASE READ FIRST: RAW-EDGE FUSIBLE APPLIQUE

This is a raw-edge fusible applique pattern. The templates print at FINISHED SIZE with NO seam allowance and NO dashed turn-under lines, and they come as numbered full-size layout sheets - not as separate cut-out pieces. You trace each shape onto paper-backed fusible web, iron it to your fabric, cut on the drawn line, peel, press it in place, and stitch over the raw edge with a blanket or narrow zigzag stitch. Paper-backed fusible web is required. This is NOT a turned-edge / needle-turn pattern, and there are no dotted seam-allowance lines to turn under.

A charming folk-art raccoon sits front and centre on a crisp white background, his silvery grey and black-striped body rendered in bold, graphic shapes that give him an irresistible storybook warmth. His signature black mask and cream muzzle are full of personality, and his neatly folded paws and ringed tail make him look like he has just settled in for a visit. Surrounding him on both sides are tall, swaying stems bursting with oversized blooms in every colour imaginable — hot pink, royal blue, vivid purple, fiery orange, golden yellow and rich red — each flower a joyful splash of saturated fabric. The overall effect is exuberant and playful, the kind of design that practically sews itself as you audition one bright petal after another against the clean white ground.
